A one-minute transition ritual before focused work

Updated 8 August 2026

Focus Reset is a one-minute visual ritual for the moment before work that matters. You open the app, look softly at a stable center while the field settles, and leave on You’re ready. Then you begin.

What happens in the minute

  • Arrive. Quiet home field. Start Reset · 1 min.
  • Look. Keep attention on one fixed pearl while the atmosphere gathers.
  • Settle. Near the end, brief eyes-closed guidance as the field quiets.
  • Begin. You’re ready. Optional focus time after: 15, 30, or 60 minutes, or no timer.

What it isn’t

Not a meditation course, sessions library, coach, or content feed. Not another place to scroll. A repeatable cue for leaving the last thing and entering this one.

Why one minute

Long enough to feel a shift. Short enough that it doesn’t become another project. If it feels a bit boring, that is intentional. Nothing in the app is competing with the work you’re about to do.

Free includes the full Violet Mist minute. Pro is a one-time purchase that adds 1:30 and 2:00 resets, Aurora Teal and Smoked Sapphire themes, Ocean Drift and Soft Air ambience, and 30-day history insights and patterns. No subscription.

How to use it well

  • Attach it to a cue you already have: start of a deep work block, after lunch, before writing or coding.
  • Do it when you intend to begin, not when you’re hunting for a mood.
  • When you see You’re ready, start the work right away.
  • If you use a timer or blocker, start those after the ritual. Here’s the pairing.

What we’re willing to show

No invented testimonials or brain charts. The homepage shows the real field and the real path into beginning. Skeptical about looking at a center? Read the straight answer.
