Focus Reset is provided by iTechAI Pte. Ltd., Singapore (“iTechAI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Focus Reset app, visit focusreset.itechai.org, or contact us.

1. At a glance

• Focus Reset has no account or login.
• History, preferences, insights, and Reset reminder settings stay on your device.
• Pro is one optional lifetime purchase, with no subscription, renewal, or trial.
• The app uses limited, privacy-minimized usage analytics and technical crash reports.
• There are no ads, cross-app tracking, session recordings, or named analytics profiles.
• We do not sell personal data.

2. Information kept on the device

Focus Reset stores your reset and Focus Block history, preferences, locally calculated insights, Reset reminder settings, app configuration, and Pro status on your device. This information powers the experience on that device. Focus Reset does not provide cloud sync for it.

If you enable Reset reminder, the app asks for notification permission and schedules the reminder on your device. You can turn it off in the app or change notification permission in system settings.

Deleting the app generally removes its local information, subject to device backups and operating-system behaviour. The core experience does not require access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location.

3. Lifetime Pro purchase

Focus Reset Pro is one optional lifetime non-consumable purchase. Apple or Google handles payment and refunds, and iTechAI does not receive your full payment-card details.

RevenueCat processes limited purchase and entitlement information to verify and restore lifetime Pro access. Deleting the app does not refund the purchase associated with your store account.

4. Usage analytics and crash reporting

In release builds, PostHog EU Cloud receives limited, privacy-minimized usage analytics. These cover onboarding, reset usage and completion, selected reset settings, Pro-screen interactions, and purchase status or outcome. We use this information to verify important flows and improve Focus Reset.

Sentry receives limited technical crash and error reports from release builds so we can diagnose defects. Reports may include technical details such as device model, operating system version, app version, and stack traces.

These services do not receive session recordings, screenshots, analytics free text, names, email addresses, Focus Reset accounts, or named analytics profiles. We do not use them for ads or cross-app tracking.

5. Website visits and support messages

When you visit focusreset.itechai.org, hosting and security providers may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested page, and request time.

If you contact us, we receive what you choose to send, such as your email address, device and app details, screenshots, and message. We use it to respond and investigate the issue. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information.

6. Use, disclosure, retention, and security

We use information to operate, secure, and improve Focus Reset and its website; provide and restore Pro; diagnose errors; answer messages; address abuse or security incidents; comply with law; and protect legal rights.

We disclose information to service providers only as needed for these purposes, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect people, or defend legal rights. Providers may process information outside Singapore or your country; where required, we take reasonable steps to protect transferred personal data.

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including support, product operation and improvement, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Local app information remains under your control on your device. Store providers retain their records under their own policies.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for personal data under our control, but no electronic system is completely secure.

7. User choices, policy changes, and contact

You can manage Reset reminder and notification settings, clear local history where the app provides that control, or delete the app. Depending on applicable law, you may also ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or explain our handling of your personal data, or withdraw consent where relevant. We may request information needed to verify your request.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to Focus Reset or applicable requirements. The current version will appear here with its effective date, with additional notice where required.
