Common questions
Do I need an account, and where is my information stored?
No. Focus Reset has no account or login. History, preferences, insights, and Reset reminder settings stay on your device without Focus Reset cloud sync. You can clear local history in Settings where available. Deleting the app generally removes local data, subject to device backups and operating-system behaviour.
How do I manage Reset reminder?
Open Focus Reset Settings and change Reset reminder. If it does not appear, check the reminder time, notification permission, Focus or Do Not Disturb settings, and any notification-summary, battery, or background restrictions on your device.
What is Focus Reset Pro?
Pro adds optional features shown in the app before purchase, such as longer reset durations, additional halo themes, ambience, and richer local History & Insights. It is one optional lifetime purchase, not a subscription or trial. Apple or Google handles payment.
How do I restore Focus Reset Pro?
In Settings, select Restore Purchase while signed in to the Apple or Google account that bought Pro. Use a brief internet connection so the store and RevenueCat can verify the lifetime entitlement. If Pro still does not appear, confirm the store account, try again after any store outage, then email support with your device type and app version. Restoring does not create a Focus Reset account.
How do I request a refund?
Request it through the store that processed the purchase. Apple handles App Store refunds, and Google handles Google Play refunds, under their policies and applicable law.
How does Focus Reset handle privacy and analytics?
Local app information stays on your device. Release builds send limited, privacy-minimized usage analytics and technical crash reports to help verify important flows and fix defects. Focus Reset has no ads, cross-app tracking, session recordings, or named analytics profiles. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Does Focus Reset require sensitive device permissions?
The core experience does not require access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location.
Is Focus Reset a medical or mental-health service?
No. Focus Reset is a productivity tool, not a medical device, treatment, counselling service, or substitute for professional advice.
