Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Focus Reset mobile app, website, and related services. Focus Reset is provided by iTechAI Pte. Ltd., Singapore (“iTechAI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using Focus Reset, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
1. What Focus Reset is
Focus Reset is a productivity tool: a brief visual transition designed to help you move from scattered attention into focused work. The free core experience is a one-minute reset, and an optional Focus Block timer may follow.
Focus Reset is not a medical device, treatment, mental-health service, counselling service, or substitute for professional advice. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and we do not guarantee any particular result.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally permitted to use Focus Reset and accept these Terms. If you cannot enter a binding agreement where you live, use it only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm that you can accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. No account and local data
Focus Reset has no account or login. History, preferences, insights, and Reset reminder settings stay on your device without Focus Reset cloud backup. You are responsible for your device, operating-system backups, and access to the Apple or Google account used to buy Pro. Local data may be lost if you delete the app, clear app data, replace or reset your device, or experience a device or software failure.
4. Free and Pro features
Focus Reset provides a complete free core experience and optional paid features throughFocus Reset Pro. Pro features are shown in the app before purchase and may include longer reset durations, additional halo themes, ambience, and richer local History & Insights.
We may maintain, improve, replace, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
5. Lifetime purchase
Focus Reset Pro is a one-time lifetime non-consumable purchase associated with your Apple App Store or Google Play account. It is not a subscription and has no automatic renewal or trial. The store displays the price, currency, and included features before you buy.
Apple or Google handles payment. RevenueCat verifies the purchase and restores the lifetime entitlement. Use Restore Purchase while signed in to the same store account to restore eligible Pro access; this does not create a Focus Reset account.
Apple or Google handles refund requests under its policies and applicable law. Deleting the app does not refund the purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits a consumer or refund right that cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Licence
Subject to these Terms, iTechAI grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to use Focus Reset for lawful personal use or lawful internal use within your organisation. Focus Reset is licensed, not sold.
Except where law expressly permits, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, derive source code from, or create derivative works from Focus Reset.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Focus Reset for an unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive purpose;
- interfere with the app or website, or attempt unauthorised access;
- circumvent purchase, entitlement, security, or technical controls;
- commercially redistribute, resell, or sublicense Focus Reset;
- remove ownership notices or impersonate iTechAI; or
- use automated means to burden, scrape, or disrupt the website except as permitted by law.
8. Intellectual property
Focus Reset, including its software, visual design, motion, audio, text, branding, and other content, is owned by iTechAI or its licensors and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
9. Third-party platforms
Focus Reset depends on services outside our control, including device operating systems, Apple, Google, purchase verification, crash reporting, notifications, and hosting. Their terms and privacy policies may apply, and we are not responsible for their interruptions or changes except as required by law.
For an app obtained through Apple, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. A mandatory Apple term controls if it conflicts with these Terms.
10. Availability and updates
We do not guarantee that Focus Reset will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Its operation may depend on your device, operating system, notification and battery settings, store services, or network. We may issue updates, fix defects, modify functionality, or stop supporting older versions, and an update may be required.
11. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in theFocus Reset Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers and consumer rights
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Focus Reset is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, and non-infringement where they may lawfully be disclaimed. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, iTechAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss related to Focus Reset, including loss of data, opportunity, productivity, revenue, or profits.
Where liability cannot be excluded, iTechAI’s aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Focus Reset Pro or the minimum amount required by applicable law. This does not limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.
14. Ending use
You may stop using Focus Reset at any time. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, abuse, fraud, a security threat, a material breach, or a legal requirement. Stopping use or deleting the app does not refund a lifetime store purchase.
Provisions that by their nature should continue, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law, remain in effect.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Singapore law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protections under the law where you live remain unaffected.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Focus Reset or applicable requirements. The current version will appear here with its effective date, with additional notice where required.
