Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Focus Reset does not currently require an account or login.

Where are my settings and ritual history stored?

Your settings, reminder configuration, ritual history, and locally calculated insights are generally stored on your device. Focus Reset does not currently provide a cloud account or cross-device history synchronisation.

How do I remove my local Focus Reset data?

Use any relevant clear or reset control available in Focus Reset.

You can also delete the app to remove its locally stored data from that device, subject to device backups and operating-system behaviour.

Deleting Focus Reset does not cancel an active subscription.

How do I enable or disable Daily Reminder?

Open Focus Reset Settings and change Daily Reminder.

If a reminder does not appear, check that:

  • Daily Reminder is enabled in Focus Reset;
  • notifications are allowed in your device settings;
  • the configured reminder time is correct;
  • Focus, Do Not Disturb, or notification-summary settings are not suppressing it; and
  • battery or background restrictions are not interfering with notifications.

How do I restore Focus Reset Pro?

Open Focus Reset Settings and select Restore Purchases.

Use the same Apple App Store or Google Play account that made the original purchase. Restoring purchases does not create a Focus Reset account.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the store that processed the purchase.

On iPhone or iPad: open Settings, select your Apple Account, select Subscriptions, and choose Focus Reset.

On Android: open Google Play, select your profile, select Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and choose Focus Reset.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Why is Focus Reset Pro not showing as active?

First confirm that:

  • the device is signed in to the Apple or Google account that made the purchase;
  • the subscription or purchase is active in the store;
  • the device has an internet connection; and
  • you have selected Restore Purchases in Focus Reset.

If access is still unavailable, contact support and include your device type and app version. Do not send full payment-card information.

How do I request a refund?

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are generally refunded by Apple. Purchases made through Google Play are generally refunded by Google.

Use the refund process provided by the store that processed your purchase. Refund eligibility is determined by the applicable store policy and law.

Does Focus Reset use my camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location?

The core Focus Reset experience does not require access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location.

Is Focus Reset a medical or mental-health service?

No. Focus Reset is a productivity tool and is not a medical device, treatment, counselling service, or substitute for professional advice.
