Focus Reset Privacy Policy

Focus Reset is provided by iTechAI Pte. Ltd., Singapore (“iTechAI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Focus Reset mobile application, visit focusreset.itechai.org, join the launch list, or contact us.

1. Focus Reset mobile application

No account or login

Focus Reset does not currently require an account or login. We do not currently provide a Focus Reset cloud profile or cross-device account synchronisation.

Information stored locally on your device

To provide the app’s functionality, Focus Reset may store the following information locally on your device:

  • ritual preferences, including duration, halo theme, ambience, and completion-sound settings;
  • reminder settings;
  • ritual history and completion information;
  • locally calculated progress and insights;
  • app configuration; and
  • Focus Reset Pro entitlement status.

This information is used to operate the app and provide features such as saved preferences, reminders, history, and insights.

iTechAI does not currently receive your ritual history, reminder schedule, or app preferences from the Focus Reset app. Local app information remains on your device unless you choose to include it in a support request or a future feature clearly explains otherwise.

Deleting Focus Reset generally removes its locally stored information from that device, subject to your device’s backup and operating-system behaviour. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.

Notifications

If you enable Daily Reminder, Focus Reset asks for permission to display notifications and schedules the reminder on your device.

You can disable Daily Reminder within Focus Reset or change notification permission through your device settings.

Focus Reset does not currently use reminders for third-party advertising.

Device permissions

The core Focus Reset experience does not require access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location.

Purchases and subscriptions

Focus Reset Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play.

Apple or Google processes your payment information. iTechAI does not receive your full payment-card details.

The app may receive limited transaction and entitlement information needed to provide and restore Focus Reset Pro, such as the purchased product, transaction status, renewal or expiry status, and an opaque transaction identifier.

Apple and Google process information under their own privacy policies and store terms.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Focus Reset does not currently include third-party advertising, cross-app behavioural tracking, or analytics intended to profile how you use the ritual.

If these practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and the applicable Apple App Privacy and Google Play Data Safety disclosures before the changed practice is released.

2. Focus Reset website

When you visit focusreset.itechai.org, our hosting and security providers may automatically process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, requested page, and request timestamp.

We use this information only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, diagnose, and maintain the website. We do not use the Focus Reset website for third-party behavioural advertising.

Launch list

If you join the Focus Reset launch list, we collect:

  • your email address; and
  • the date and time of signup.

We use this information to send the Focus Reset launch announcement and occasional launch-related product updates.

You may unsubscribe through a method included in our emails or by contacting us. We do not sell launch-list email addresses.

3. Support and privacy communications

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your email address, device model, operating-system version, app version, screenshots, screen recordings, diagnostic details, and the content of your message.

We use this information to:

  • respond to your request;
  • investigate technical issues;
  • provide customer support;
  • protect the security and integrity of Focus Reset; and
  • improve the app and website.

Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or sensitive personal information that is not necessary for us to assist you.

4. How we use information

Where applicable, we may use information to:

  • operate, maintain, and secure Focus Reset and its website;
  • provide and restore paid features;
  • remember launch-list subscriptions;
  • respond to support and privacy requests;
  • investigate errors, abuse, or security incidents;
  • comply with legal obligations; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We may use service providers for functions such as:

  • website hosting, database infrastructure, and security;
  • email delivery;
  • customer support;
  • app distribution; and
  • in-app purchase and subscription processing.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us, subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect users or the public, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect our legal rights.

6. International processing

Some service providers may process information outside Singapore or outside the country where you live.

Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure that transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to that required by applicable law.

7. Retention and deletion

  • Local app information: remains on your device until you clear it through an available app control, delete the app, erase app data through the operating system, or your device otherwise removes it.
  • Launch-list information: is retained until you unsubscribe, request deletion, the launch-list purpose has been completed, or retention is no longer reasonably necessary.
  • Support and privacy communications: may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain support records, resolve disputes, protect security, and meet legal obligations.
  • Store transaction information: is retained by Apple or Google according to their policies. We may retain limited records where reasonably necessary to provide entitlements, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with law.

To request deletion of personal data held by iTechAI, contact the privacy address below. Because Focus Reset does not require an account and keeps ritual information locally, we may hold little or no personal data associated with an individual app user.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal data under our control.

No electronic system or transmission method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to:

  • ask whether we hold personal data about you;
  • request access to or correction of personal data;
  • withdraw consent for certain processing;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • object to or restrict certain processing; and
  • raise a privacy question or complaint.

To exercise a right, contact us using the privacy address below. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify and process your request.

10. Children

Focus Reset is a general productivity application and does not require users to provide their name, age, or identity.

The launch list and support channels are not intended for children to submit personal data without appropriate permission from a parent or guardian. If we learn that a child has provided personal data without appropriate authorisation, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Focus Reset, our service providers, or applicable requirements change.

The current version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
